RV Tour Bus

Last night this rig pulled into the KOA at the base of Devil's Tower in Wyoming.

As it drove by us, the front looked like a regular tour bus but the back of it had a solid wall except for lots of windows on the "driver" side of the type I associate with bunk beds.  Then it turned and backed into a site where we had a clear view of the "passenger" side.

I was taught it is rude to stare but how can you not watch something like this?!  So I stayed in our van and watched but lots of other campers gathered to gawk.

People started flowing from the front door of the rig and began what was obviously a very practiced set up routine.  Some opened doors under the front and unloaded luggage.  Some opened doors under the back and started settting up tables and benches.  And some went to the other side and got food and cookware.  One woman put a table cloth on the site's picnic table and immediately started peeling potatoes.

Then they opened up the back.  It looked like it was going to be a stage.

Down came the stairs and a handrail was installed.

Then the curtains went up.

And they were done.  The "stage" turned out to be a vestibule for the bunk room.

Pretty cool RV, huh?

TTYL,
Linda
