A Day in the RV
We've had some requests for
pictures of living in our Free Spirit. I know if I start posting
pictures here the picture and the “more” button will overlap but
I've been told that, if you click on the more button of the previous page, it will give
you a page number in the header. Changing that number to the next higher number
will move you on to the new page. I hope this works for you.
The typical day starts with us waking up in the bedroom.
While I brush me teeth, etc. [OK, that's Dave brushing his teeth in our tiny bathroom where it works best to sit on the toilet while using the sink],
Dave turns the bedroom into a living room.
Then we put up the table which stores under one of the dining room benches
which turns the room into a dining room and we have breakfast.
After breakfast, the same space turns into the office where Linda starts her daily computer activities.
The galley area also goes through multiple transitions during the day depending on what activity is taking precedence at the moment.
Then we usually pack up everything and go traveling.
At the end of the day and other end of the RV, the passenger seat turns around to become part of the den. This is where Dave does a lot of his computing.
When I sit in the den I put a cushion on a camp stool to turn the passenger seat into a recliner, since I prefer to sit with my feet up.
Soon it is time for bed and the whole process starts all over again.
That's how two people can live in such a small space--by being efficient about it's use.
TTYL,
Linda

Yes, you do have to be very efficient to live that way. We have been fulltime for years. We started out with a 31 ft TT with one slide. Now we have a 34 ft one with two slides. It seems huge after living in the smaller one so long.

Discovered your weblog from a pointer on Froggi Donna’s web site. Enjoy your writing. 8-) Glad to see that a couple can live [reasonably] happily in such a small and efficient vehicle. Wonder if you could include some more details about the vehicle (I found their web site but it’s not very informative). Oh, yes, what does TTYL stand for? Continued good luck in your travels.

It’s amazing how you can do it without killing each other. We’re going fulltime in a 5er in 2010. I would like to meet you on the road.

That’s so cool!! I am SO envious! For some reason, I am vastly amused at the band-aids next to the salt and pepper over the sink. Maybe because that’s REAL and something you’d never see in an ad?
Where do you wake up on an untypical day? [g]

Half the fun of being an RV enthusiast is to see how different folks live in their RV. Enjoyed your blog.
